The Japanese midfielder confirmed he was in the process of negotiating with Botafogo club of the Brazilian national championship. However, Honda has not yet made a final decision. The Japanese player and head coach of the Cambodian team will make the announcement no later than February 4.
According to Live Sport Asia, the contract between the two sides is expected to last a year. Here, Honda will receive salaries and amounts related to its image copyright.
Botafogo Club initially stopped negotiating with Honda when they had enough foreign troops in the team. However, at the request of the fans, Botafogo decided to return to the Honda deal. The club also wants to expand their image in Japan.
